When laying a base for a garden building, cost is not as important as choosing the appropriate type required for differing installations. It is after all a part of or the entire foundation. By choosing EasyBases, you can be sure they bring the benefits of strength, precision, simplicity and value for money. With sleek, eye-catching lines, these bases will not only support your building for years to come, they enhance the overall appearance.

Ultimately, the best choice for a shed base depends on several factors, including overall weight, substrate/surface conditions, base durability and budget. We want to help you protect your investment in a garden building and can advise the best option for your requirements, even if we think our frames might not be appropriate.

EasyBases come in two formats.

EasyFloors sit on an EasyFrame to provide a concrete-filled steel-tiled floor.

Shown above is the EasyFloor with steel encased 2’x2′ concrete tiles in place. The EasyFrame is pictured with the frame alone on display at Norton Leisure Buildings further down this page.

As pioneers of Aluminium framed concrete garden buildings, Leofric Building Systems were ideally placed to develop corrosion-free metal bases for sheds and garden buildings. Frames capable of bearing a concrete building are eminently well-suited to the task of supporting a multitude of structures.

The tiled floor is perfect for a concrete shed, workshop, home gym, home office, hot tub or greenhouse. In fact any building where a substantial and level floor is required. Desired finishes can be achieved by using a range of paints to protect and add a non-slip surface for example.

Feet Pricing

All prices for feet ‘with inserts’ are based on the inclusion of a standard 50mm M12 bolt to allow adjusting of the frame. Other lengths can be provided on a per bolt basis as numbers of feet and lengths can vary for each customer. More detail on feet types can be found here.

Although any length bolt could be attached, common sense and perhaps more importantly planning permission considerations must be considered if attempting to raise your structure’s roof higher. Some advice and links to official government standards are here.

The shed on the right is shown on an EasyBases EasyFrame installed on a level concrete surface, removing the need for feet. This is the simplest type of installation.

The photo was taken at the display site of Norton Leisure Buildings in Chipping Norton, Banbury Road, Chipping Norton, OX7 5SY Phone 01608 643 784.

At this location there are a range of wooden sheds, greenhouses, garden rooms and home offices you can view and assess before buying.

We at Leofric Building Systems, list this information as a public service to save potential buyers from driving around to Garden Centres who list sheds but do not have any on display when you get there. Nothing beats inspecting what is actually on offer.

  • How do the doors and windows fit?
  • Does the floor seem firm and solid enough under foot?
  • Is any of the wood splitting?
  • Is the roof material likely to be lifted by a strong wind?
